I finally caved and bought a foam roller after my Sunday run. My knee still hurt after 5ish weeks of rest. I now want to marry the foam roller and have little high density foam babies.

Another 2 miles :-D I'd say I didn't run further than this because of my knee, but in reality it's because I'm really out of shape.

I really don't like this every other day running stuff. It feels so lazy and I forget that I ran two days ago. But, if my knee likes it, I like it.

Such a beautiful day! I didn't plan on hitting 3 miles quite yet but a train blocked my route home for awhile so I decided to run a little bit more.

| I ran with the mid-Michigan track club. I'm not sure if this goes under the category of good ideas. It was awkward because I didn't know anyone, but it was fun and I pushed myself harder than I would have done alone.
The workout was 3x1 mile. We started every 12 minutes (speedier people did 10), so the slower you ran, the less rest you got). The course was in a cemetery and it was surprisingly hilly. I'm not sure of my splits yet as they haven't been posted and I didn't have enough brain oxygen to remember anything. I think they were something along the lines of 7:36, 7:45, 8:10...I know I ran 10 to 20 seconds slower each time and I was one of the last ones to finish the last mile. I'm definitely not in shape to run any sort of negative splits. There was no knee pain whatsoever! I'm just kinda sore everywhere else :-D

This is probably my favorite route I've found since I've moved to Michigan. It's a simple 3 mile out and back but it goes past two schools and it feels pretty safe. At the turn-around there are plaques with information about planets on them and I assume they are spread out to scale. I forgot to look for Pluto. Anyway, I ran to the moon and back. My knee feels super :-D

Three miles in the morning. I think very soon I'm going to stop this running every other day thing.
