| 58 degrees, sunny, light breeze. I was getting a little worried because I have been feeling weird on my runs lately. Today felt amazing though! I have one final left and then I get to relax for a day or two. |

I'm (or have already) taking the greater part of the week off.
A. I just don't feel well. Yesterday I went to the health center who sent me to the ER. I've been having nausea, chest pain, and headache since Sunday but on Wednesday things hit the fan. The ER did a chest ray, decided I would live, and sent me home with a prescription of Vicodin -which I will NOT be filling. I'm not going into school today either. Laying down feels so much better.
B. It's been raining all week.

| Tried a running experiment today to see if I feel any better. This probably wasn't a good idea, but I haven't run since Monday and I missed it. I also want to see how my body reacts to running Went out extremely slowly and for the first 20 minutes I felt great. After that my chest started to hurt a little bit so I walked. Then ran for 10 minutes until my chest hurt again followed by more walking. Repeat for 7.5 miles and a total of 56 minutes of running and who knows how many minutes of walking. The weather was so perfect out I couldn't help myself. The chest pain that sent me to the ER was on the left side of my chest. While running (so not a good idea in retrospect) the sharp chest pains were on the right side of my chest. Now my lungs kinda hurt. |

| I'm feeling better. I decided to test things out and went for a 4 miler this morning. It felt so good to really run again! |

| The weather has been so beautiful here and this non-running thing is killing me. I'd give anything to go for a run outside right now. I have a soccer game at 4 and I took a small run on the treadmill to see how I feel. I shouldn't go, but it's so tempting. My chest and head hurt after 15 minutes of running. I had a head MRI yesterday and I'm going in for a chest CT tomorrow. I'll just have to be patient (not one of my best attributes). |
